I'd actually be stoked to lose my interface, would be awesome to not have to control my phone by looking at it (i.e. on the N6 just plug it in and control from the touchscreen!), as I really keep it in there for playing music. Could also use BT on the phone and stream Sirius if I hook up the iP5 as well

Yeah, gues you got a point, the dock does place it in an awkward position. Oh well, I won't be going there right away yet. I'll have to find some way to make a dock work with an N6 thru a usb connected dock.

This may be a stupid question but I am currently having radio issues with my cucurrent 16:9 navigation would this effectively replace all the parts that could possibly be broken or bad? I am ready to be done with 9 year old radio components. The car does have DSP and an aftermarket sub with aftermarket amp (previous owner). Thanks

Not sure but it might be the antenna that's going bad and I think there's 2? One in each C pillar; somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
Since you have aftermarket amp , you have 2 options now.N6 or the Avin 2 unit
Choose one that fits you best.

I have narrowed down my issues to the radio module in the trunk or the head it itself. The aftermarket amp is only a two channel spliced into the factory harness for the subwoofer. I am leaning towards the Dynavin because the factory Nav is so hard to read. The radio turns itself on and off like the Ibus can not read it properly and is powering up and then down then powering up on its own.

Just completed my N6 install with back up camera. And I am very satisfied, with the exception of the license plate light error, I will have to do some more with load resistor to get light off

Is the error from the back up camera or is it your bulbs?

Bulb error, licensee plate light out. Switched with original bulbs and error went away.

Concerning the back-up camera.
I first tried the camera I purchased from Jeff. After I removed the trims in the back, in order to fish the cable through the tail gate, and after removing the lic plate light, I noticed there is lots of cutting involved. There I stopped, and researched some more for options.
What I found, is this one here (take a look how slim the connector is):

from e-bay. Linky.
The downside is you have to drill a hole in the back of the lic plate - which I did, run a rubber grommet plus some silicone caulking (self etching primer before that on the bare metal). This camera doesn't have the "lines" painted on the lens, like the other one. I will post some pics later how it's attached and how the screen looks. It's attached on the lower part of the lic plate so as to not interfere with the tailgate "handle" - otherwise it would be a tight fit to squeeze your hands to release the tailgate. Upside is very easy to run the cables & install (except routing the cables from front of the car to the rear).
