Even though it doesn't quite match the OEM look, it's something I can have professionally installed. the local shop installed my wife's system and it looks awesome.

Anyone with experience having a Pioneer unit installed? Does anything need to be cut out of the dash? I'm off to do some forum searches.
I have a 2004 X5 4.4i. I'm looking at the Pioneer also. I think Dynavin is okay, but it's pretty expensive. With the actual AppRadio 4, you can save at least $100. I don't need to pay for nav when it comes with my iPhone.

It seems to be a lot more refined, yet simple. It works with Android too, but the Apple CarPlay setup is crazy good.
