Getting instument cluster out / steering wheel not moving
Ever since i got my X5, steering wheel adjustment has been dead. Reading through the available info most likely I need a new driver seat module (seat controls all work though). I was not too concerned about it as I can live with the non-adjustable wheel considering the price of the new module.
However I need to remove the instrument cluster now and the wheel is in the way. Is there a way to "bypass" the module and adjust the wheel manually or by providing power to the motors directly?Tnx!
