Getting instument cluster out / steering wheel not moving
However I need to remove the instrument cluster now and the wheel is in the way. Is there a way to "bypass" the module and adjust the wheel manually or by providing power to the motors directly?Tnx!

Just remove the steering wheel. Look up the lengthy DIY for a full dash removal. You will see there the beginning steps include how to remove the airbag and steering wheel. Follow the instructions as the tricky "clock spring" is costly to replace if you let it "spring".

Right, that's the easiest way to go. I need to take the wheel off anyway to get the new leather on in a local shop.
Thanks!

You might still be able to get the instrument cluster out even with the steering wheel on. I forget if my wheel was on when I did it... Worth a shot if you don't want to mess around with taking the wheel off. Although taking the steering wheel off isn't too hard.

Nope, I tried. My wheel is stuck in and up.
