Exactly... basic rule in reading codes, you read the code, save the screen printout, reset the system, drive, read the codes again. If there is a current issue, the code will come back right away, so you deal with it. Otherwise, the problem, if exist, is an intermittent, or it is an electronic fluke that you can write off to a solar flare. Fluke is a fluke, and intermittent is the worse problem... but first, you narrow possibilities by eliminating...

thanks yes as of now i think it is a fluke as there is no pending codes or sel on
the thing is every time i clear the EM and IM in inpa i still see that code
also i see the list of times my brake light or signal or headlights had a malfunction but i can erase it from the shadow memory in inpa. is dis better at clearing the EM AND IM.????

here is my update i guess you can say it is fixed. i erase all the engine adaptation especially the FUEL TRIM
and since then no more SEL
