If you aren't in a pinch, just wait for the right buyer who will appreciate it. You want to see it go to a good home anyways. I agree with detailing the work that has been done. If people are in the hunt for a clean, well maintained version of this car and have seen crap ones, this will resonate. GLWS. I always loved that colour and those rims.

Thanks everyone!, I am driving down to the bay area on Tuesday to hopefully have it sold. I took an offer of at least $10500 so lets hope it sells!, who knows, maybe I'll find an 03 imola red 4.6is before an M5 and stay

That is one clean 4.6 indeed, I see it on the road from time to time and I'm always impressed. That said I know Mercedes Benz has a red e39 m5 here in town but it's not pristine by any stretch. The M5 in Carmel looks great, just make sure that's not the tamper dot to the left of the mileage reading on the trip odometer.

I dont think the 4.6is have the valve stem issue. Anyway is there any major issue with the e39 m5 ? I have always wanted one after owing 4 e46 m3
