so I have my 4.6is up for sale in the classifieds here and craigslist. here's a link to the craigslist post
X5 4.6is estoril blue+ 5 year warranty.

I work for BMW so it's been extremely well taken care of but it doesn't seem to want to sell, just a lot of tire kickers. Any advice?

Either wait longer or drop your price. The price will show what the market bears, and at the end of the day it's well maintained but it's a 150k mike 4.6 owned by an 18 yr old. Don't expect a premium to be paid, at auction the car would sell for 8k max.

I understand the stereotype of a 19 year old boy as a driver but I take better care of my X than most 50+ year old men. Ask the people at Bavarian Auto Haus here in Reno NV.

X5Alpine, if I was possible, I'd buy the X5 and leave in Vegas as I'm there a few times a year and it would be nice to have a vehicle there
AND like you I'd LOVE to own my dream car (e39 M5 (loaded to the tittttties, yes even with air cooled seats please).

Lower the price the car is worth around 10k max. I know u probably have a lot of money wrapped up in this and need the cash from this to buy a m5 but it might be time to sell it for what it's worth and go with plan B

Spend some time and take better pictures of the X. Sun glare pictures doesn't show a lot of details or conditions of the car. Best to take the picture in the early evening when you get a better light for photography.

Have you consider selling the car on consignment at where you work?

I agree with some statements above:

Take better pictures, clean the car better and remove the bottle, papers in the back etc. People want the picture of their potential car, not of the owner's habits (no offense).

Redo the ad concentrating on what exactly you've done and the receipts included.

I think it's good car and worth that price but good ad makes all the difference.

If I hadn't bought the X5 I did, this definitely would have been in the running. I love the color and it looks really good for the miles, imo. Be patient, I'm sure it'll sell. Good luck.

thank you everyone for their input!, I'll try and detail it again even though it's in the twenties here in Reno and take some better pictures. I just found an 02 M5 alpine white on carmel.
