A/C and heater problem?

So my water pump went on my x5 so I get no warm air in my car but one thing is weird even in the summer It did this but no air comes out of the vents on the dash like the ones for your face only in front windshield and feet but nothing comes out of the vents you can aim at your face and such what could it be? Any ideas ?
