^That would require an "X" next to your screen name.

Congrats on the iS.

Damn, I was told the car would be enough. Well, I guess since it's useless now I should just sell it...

Thanks!

No...there's no way around the passkey code. If you don't have BT paperwork that contains he code...you'll have to dig below the cargo floor (rear left side) for the module. There should be a label on the module that has the PK code, too. The module is at an angle with just a short part sticking out...with the rest of the unit buried below the cargo floor.

The code is required in order for your cell/smart phone to pair with your X.

In CarbonX5's pic below...you can see the BT module (silver thingy mounted at an angle)...again, this unit should have a label adhered to it that contains the PK code:

And you can see the PK (pass key) code on the label in the pic below (0443 is the PK code for that particular BT module)

Just a follow-up to "Q's" input. I had to remove the module, the label was on the back side.

Awesome, thanks a lot for the help! This will be the first thing I check when I get back to my car. If it won't work, I'll be back.

Don't mean to resurrect this old thread of mine, but I have finally had the opportunity to play around with this. While I have managed to find the passcode, I can't seem to find the car when I try to pair it with my phone. I have tried it in all key positions and it never shows up on my phone. Any advice?
