Suggest not using eBay bulbs in the future unless they're from a reputable seller. Often they're fake and of low quality, and will most likely make your light output worse and less reliable (as you've found out). The fact that the seller just immediately refunded you the money makes me think they're well aware of those facts!

Just make sure you shop from a reputable place. Lots and lots of fakes.
I recommend theretrofitsource.com but you're in Canada and I'm not sure what the deal is with shipping.......but surely it doesn't cost you as much to get it there as it does for me to get their stuff to Australia!
