I would expect and be willing to pay a premium for a low mileage 4.6. If I was in the market for another 4.6 I would jump all over the one in this discussion. There are far more good things about a low mileage vehicle than bad things associated with sitting time.

The premium price of the best condition/low mile limited production vehicles will ensure they remain the best examples, those looking for a vehicle to DD in snow and/or neglect will look elsewhere.

lol, even mentioning the person being in prison in this thread but not mentioning the obvious type of person.

an old person. bought and then became unable to drive so it sits until they pass and the car is sold through an estate sale and snapped up by a dealer.

my great aunt's car was a 96 grand caravan with 45k on it. back in the day they used it to take paintings to/from spoleto in charleston. then her husband passed and she couldnt drive. it sat.

a finished wood contractor snapped it up for $6500 at the estate sale due to the uber low mileage, awesome shape, and it had the ultra rare rear a/c that he wanted to keep wood cool in the summer so it wouldnt warp during transit.

$6500 for a friggin 96 grand caravan...in 2014 lol.
