Eventually I'll list it on Ebay so I can offset some of the cost for the pipe I purchased. Sorry, I don't want to just give it away.

^ Really?

I tend to keep OE parts in case they are ever needed for (a) sale or (b) compliance.

Amen to that. I learned the hard way, back in my early 20s when I modded the crap out of my Subaru. I was relatively broke, so I sold all my stock parts to supplement the costs, but when it came time to sell the Subie, I was scrambling to find stock pieces to replace the add-ons I had there. Never again, stock pieces always stay with me because you just never know

We have no emissions testing in Wisconsin except in the evil city of Milwaukee. I'll give the X and my modded M6 to my son and grandkids to enjoy vs. selling it anyway.

Thank goodness. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance. (NOT Thomas Jefferson).

Update On Delete

Almost 5 years and now at 202,000 miles and never an issue on this X since the delete. Same trans also and haven't changed the filter since I was at less than 100,000 miles. Used the lowest cost filter I could find on Bay and Pentosin fluid.

Great to hear! But- you should really look into doing the trans fluid, filter (built into the pan) and the bridge and cylindrical seals. Shift quality will GREATLY improve. Then, do yourself a huge favor and look into Rod Sutphin's trans tune. The deletes let the X run right, but the trans tune makes it DRIVE how it should have been from the factory. No more sloshy slushbox, and no more terrible cold start trans tune that revs out 2nd gear.

I've got 249.6k miles on my X5, last 35k on it have been deleted and tuned, including trans tune.

Any noticeable same conditions when it holds? Same part of a commute or uphill? Mine has always annoyingly held gears when going even slightly uphill under certain conditions. Even after dealer replacement under warranty for other reasons the same condition persisted. That and the annoying jumpy launch under certain hot weather conditions.
