I have a set of these on my 650i convertible and I really like them. They handle well, are quiet and so far they are wearing well. No complaints here.

Any other updates from those that are running EXTREMECONTACT DW on their X5s?

Same here, they're great so far, but I only have 1000mi or so on them. I'm running 37f/39r.

So I bought a set today.
They are much quieter than OE michelins. Side wall is definitely softer, there is more sidewall flex then the michelins. They absorb bumps and road irregularities. I'll report later about perf in the wet. So far, I'm pretty happy, though I wish I can get Michelin pilot super sports and call it a day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

cncmastr, I agree 100% with your impressions. Wet performance is top tier BTW.
For my 50% wife-driven 50i with no AD or sport suspension it makes a really nice combo on these terrible Indiana roads by softening up these bumps a bit more. The lateral grip is excellent, but I'm limited by moderate (by car standards, it's still a stiff SUV) body roll. Handling is a bit more vague without the runflat sidewall but the limits are higher. I miss the darty turn in a bit, but the smoothness and low noise is pretty nice. |

I, too, would like Pilot Super Sports but am looking at the Latitude Sport and Latitude Sport 3 since the PSS is not available in my size/for my application.

Wet tire performance was one of the main reasons I bought them. Dry grip seems good, but I agree the Darty nature of the michelins will be missed, certainly not the rough ride, noise and terrible wear, plus even half way worn, the wet traction was awful. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Those wanting Michelin PSS tires might want to look at the Vredestein Ultrac Vorti tires.
Hamann has been installing them on their modified M5s, M6s and the now F15..... http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...es-f15-x5.html I've been running them for about a year, LOVE the ride & wet/dry grip.
