Iamjamen, to answer your question regarding any issues since repair was made is "no". I have been issue free since 7/16. Just performing normal maintenance requirements and enjoying the X5.

Very good news. 83k miles and our 2012 X5 35i has had three episodes in the last 8k miles where it doesn't want to shift out of park.

A mechatronics SLEEVE is not the same as a mechatronics UNIT.

Our X5 originally had serveral bouts before it diagnosed as the mechatronics UNIT as the issue. It was flat bedded 3 separate times over a 4 month time period. Odometer is at 94k miles and still drives like new. Best move was changing out of run flats to Conti Extreme Contacts DW06.

the sleeve is a $9 item. The mechatronics unit is also known as the VALVE BODY. That is $2500+.

Bridgestone Runflats? Any tire is better than that, runflat or not.
