? regarding 2011/12 V8 - Customer care

So I have looking hard for either a 2011 or 12 35i or 50 engine. I have seen many posts with reference to the "BMW Offers Customer Care Package for N63" recall for the V8. Wondering has this fixed the issue owners were having.

The car I'm looking at mentions this service also done by BMW as a recall but just want to verify with others has the problem with the fuel pump been resolved, also was the timing chain affected with this recall also ?

Thanks any input members have would be helpful as I've heard many owners had turned in their vehicles due to this recall or prior due to the problem.

Also does the one yr warranty on the work carry over to the new buyer ?
