Thanks. Some don't, believing stuff so complicated that a witch-doctor's ritual is better and safer.

Interesting that your 0'7 has one lt2mc, so I looked again. Then I remembered my radiator was replaced long ago with the newer version that does away with the extra hose. Must have been only on the first year or two of production. The photos of the OEM replacements for this model definitely show no drain plug. I'm assuming the inlet on the lower left is going to be the hose I should pull off to drain? Much smaller diameter hose that goes only a short distance into what looks to be the ATM oil cooler. Just want to make sure before I pull it off.

The new revised radiator doesnt have a drain. I commented on that when I did my radiator swap. I too did a coolant exchange when I replaced the radiator and filled most of the system with distilled water and then drained and replaced with the appropriate amount of coolant. Had to flush it 3 times.

Did you drain the fluid from that smaller bottom radiator going to the oil cooler, or did you pull a hose nearer the water pump?

And that is an impressive list of "headaches." My tool set has doubled since buying a BMW. Can't even imagine what your's must look like.

MPE50, I removed the one closest to the water pump. It was easier to gain access.
