N63 - Oil consumption - what is the cause?

I know a few people have issues with oil consumption on the N63. And I've seen the service bulletin from BMW saying that 1 qt every 750 miles is normal.

Hello! McFly. THAT is not normal. They can say the sky is orange and the sun is blue, but that doesn't make it true.

Sorry, I digress. I'm curious if we know how the oil is being burned? I've already had my Valve Stem Seals done, and that did NOT change my consumption. So I think that leaves Piston Rings or something with the Turbo.

Do we know which?? If the turbo.... is there a seal or something that would be serviceable??? Over a weekend or two, I could probably manage to get the turbo's out myself, if I knew that there would be something which was repairable.
