Lost my key fob ?

Hello everyone, well as the title says I've lost my key fob. If I can not find it what do I need to do to get a replacement ? It is unlocked and sitting in my garage. Do I need to have it towed to local BMW stealer? or just give them my info? I hope I find the key fob. I'm flipping my house upside down and can't seem to find it. I might have dropped it on my way towards my house from the garage. I don't have nice neighbours, so if they found it, most likely there not going to give it back.

No need to tow, just provide them your VIN and proof of ownership.

You can order from https://bmwoffairfaxparts.com/
They will ship the key to you, ready to use. If you have comfort access, and want it programmed, then you will need to take the car and key to a dealer.

But the key will work to unlock and start the car.

Well I did some digging around and made a few calls to local BMW stealerships. Best price got with tax was 244.28 from Patrick BMW. Not bad. My wife ending up helping me look for the key. She found it for me sunk in on the side of my computer chair. Damn thing .... I could of sworn I checked it, anyways, I'm still in need of a spare key. Looks like all I have to do is show ID and bring registration. Overall a good day
