Torque Specs?

I'm about to do a tune up on my N62. It's leaking in a few places and figured while I'm in there I would be preventative and replace a few things.

My problem is, I usually buy shop manuals for all of my cars that list the torque specs for everything. Seeing as how they don't make shop manuals for this car (at least none that I can find) I'm a little lost on where to obtain all of the torque specs for everything.

If someone could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it!

So I continued to search around and came across other forums/posts related to the same thing and the general consensus seems to be

I took a risk and paid $20 and downloaded a "Service repair workshop manual" for the E70 X5 from TradeBit and it turned out to be bullshit. It's the same as whats posted elsewhere on the forums. This...

Index of /pdf/e70

Basically a glorified owners manual.. nowhere does it have torque or how-to's. So I requested a refund both from TradeBit and PayPal, but now I'm back at square one... Torque spec-less... I know I could likely search one by one and find the torque specs for everything I will be replacing but that's a pain in the ass and a huge time waster. Does anyone know if this mythical unicorn of a service manual even exists? and if so, HOW DO I OBTAIN IT!?

What you need is ISTA/D.

So I got on Rheingold's website and was just wanting to make sure I am purchasing what I need. Can anyone confirm for me?

RheingoldUSA.com Store

It's the "diagnostics and programming kit" $289.99

Will this have torque specs for everything and will this software also allow me to calibrate a new battery when I need to replace it? If so, I'll order it today. Just don't want to mess with ordering additional items or returning this because I selected the wrong thing.

The software can be found for free. The most expensive, 100% proven cable is ~$100.

Other useful free source is BMW TIS. - just url it through Google translate. It a bit difficult to navigate, though.

Any additional info on where to find Rheingold for free? I've been looking for days to try and find something with all the info I need but cant. I tried to use BMW TIS but its absolutely worthless in my opinion. Nightmare to navigate, slow as hell, and you waste so much time flipping through pages and closing ad's. Spend more time messing with their site than I do working on my car.

I have no problem spending some coin on the proper program/hardware. Saving time and frustration is worth it to me. I just want to make sure I am getting the right thing. Thanks for all the help though everyone. I really appreciate it. trying to keep "my precious" in shape. and you are all making that possible.
