Note that if you are working with a Pre-LCI X5, as I was, you also must do the folllowing:
1. Replace the JBBF (Junction Box module under the glove box) with a newer LCI module
2. Extend all of the PDC sensor wires from the old PDC in the Left rear area to the new JBBF module (which has the PDC built into it)
3. Remove the old PDC module
4. Code the new JBBF module

Enjoy,
John
I can confirm that you cannot read or write to the TRSVC in NCS ... it takes something like Tool32 or WINFKP to do that along with an ICOM, but I am glad you mention that there is nothing to code in it!

I am at present retrofitting Top View $3AH and have a few problems but we think it’s hardware, either cables or CIC pinouts ... getting there but what a drama!!

The thing I want to ask is what steps you need to take to code a later JBBF to a car that never had one ... I am going to do this to another E70 pre LCI and no one is able to run the procedure past me ... I reckon I know what to do but a heads up is always good!!!

I know the rewiring that needs doing, from F & R sensors to the new JBBF and have studied it at length, just not quite sure on how to code a unit that is new to the vehicle ... is it difficult??

Many thanks ...
