So to check if it is registered in the DDE.
Although I believe that it must be registered cause i replaced the injector to an authorized service center.

Thanks for the help
I won't be able to tell you, bud. From m diagram below, looks like it won't be visible..

Note:
In the case of piezo injectors, the seven-digit adjustment value must be stored in the control unit after replacement of an injector.

Read off adjustment value (1) on new injector (2).

You can read it on top, I used a cheap borescope camera. Just look around that flat part that surrounds the top nut for fuel line.

I took the car back to the service center. They exchanged the injectors with another cylinder, but the problem remains on 2nd, so the problem for sure is not on the injector.
They also measured the compression and it is ok.
They told me that i can take the car, and that i will not a have a problem although that is running rough for a while, when it is cold.
Any ideas about it?

Did the 'service center' reset the injector adaptation with each change of injectors???

Injectors DO work without coding the injectors, but may lead to rough running.

Have you checked the glow plugs, any codes regarding them? Glow plugs help combustion when the engine is cold.

No error about the glow plugs. I replaced 2 of them about a year ago, and the controller also. But currently no errors about them.

OP, you don't sound very confident regarding shop coding the new injector.
You may want to check what program the shop used, what "coding" means to them, etc.
Else, go down an expensive rabbit hole replacing other things.

I am pretty sure they coded the injector, as I said they are an authorized service center and dealer for BMW, I am sure that they know the correct procedure for it.
At least they told me they coded it, what can I say?

Know that diesels can be rare (more so in the USA than OUS) so many BMW dealers (aka 'authorised center') may not be as expert as we might hope.

If they told you "yeah, it wouldnt run if they werent coded", that is a red flag. They are lying or mistaken. Just saying....

They need to recode adaptation even swapping injectors-

Just comments- we know you have to rely on their honesty.
