When you clear it, does it come back reliably?

I have not cleared it to see if it comes back. Is that normally what people do? Clear and rescan every time and only pay attention to the ones that keep coming back?

So looks like the word "Motorabstellzeit" translates to Engine Timing and/or timing parameters.
Maybe this is what is causing my car to jerk/surge while in Drive at stop lights??? Vanos solenoid related maybe? |

I just received this code, along with 2E8D (Intelligent battery sensor, signal transmission). This was after my E70 sat for 5 days without driving (also note that overnight temps have been getting cool). The battery may have dipped below a certain level causing the code... that's my guess. I cleared the codes with my Carly and so far so good. Will update if they come back.
