In a couple of hundred thousand posts, I dont think I have ever heard that resetting adaptations is a bad idea. By anyone. Now a ZF certified shop, one of 15 in the USA (?), tells us you should not reset adaptations as the tranny might not fully learn.

and that reprogramming the BMW code for the tcu is a better plan, irrespective of the current SW levels?

to be 100% honest, I just dont know enough here to make any definitive judgements- if it wasnt for '740s high praise and Dose' reputation, Id say it is the universal BS you get.

Did we ever hear why the mechatronics wasnt done with the drain/fill/filter/pan?
