Also remember that BMW offers the tire mobility kits for those that are eschewing runflats and going to regular tires. If you feel that stowing a spare tire kit takes up too much trunk or cargo space...there's the option of the tire mobility kit that comes with a "built in" and replaceable (once it is used) canister of sealant (the new style kit) and a 12v air compressor. The compressor has a selection for air (only) or repair (uses the built in sealant canister). That along with a road side service (like AAA) can be a work around if you want to dump the run flats.
