Key fob and comfort access

My key fob and comfort access are not working, I think due to a leaking sunroof. The roof had one corner which was dropped below the level of the rear section so I have just lifted it up, but I have definitely had water in the car because after a heavy shower, when I drove off, water came from the interior light panel, the back of the sunroof and into the passenger footwell (left side, UK car 2007 plate E70).

I am having to lock and unlock with the manual key (setting the alarm off every time I get in), but if I start the car then stop it, remove the key and hit the start button it will start, but only after it has been run and stopped.

I have replaced the battery in both fobs so it isn’t the fob, and on occasions the fob has worked to lock and unlock the car so I don’t think it is a programming issue.

Comfort access on the door handles does not work at all. Car battery is charged.

Any ideas please?
