Front Diff, Rear diff, transfer case fluid change problems
2013 X5 35i xdrive Msport
Ok Attempted this yesterday and was frustrated on all 3 accounts. Rear Diff- Bought a fluid extraction pump from home depot, did not work, could not get the fluid out. Rejected! ***what fluid extractors have you guys used with success? Transfer case- Could only find one drain/fill plug? could not find the 2nd plug to save my life. This model has 2 plugs right? or is it only 1 and I have to suck that out too? Front diff, found 2 plugs, could not access the fill plug due to the B**tch of a time getting to it with all the lines and s**t in the way. Going to get an extended length 14mm socket I think and try that. I have read all the threads I could find and none of the videos I have watched are on this specific model. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
