dalecan is on a distinguished road
panoramic sunroof

So I was driving along the freeway at normal speeds when my sunroof exploded. It was like a shotgun went off and the glass was everywhere. The car is a 2012 X5d with 85k on on the clock.
Has anyone experienced this?
I did read that there was a class action lawsuit against BMW.
https://www.carcomplaints.com/news/2...-lawsuit.shtml

It's a bit chilly in WA state but not cold, plus the car has been in colder climates so I don't think it's temperature related. I'm pretty convinced that nothing struck the car.
Hopefully my insurance will cover it. Any advice appreciated.

My wife said if she had been driving she would of crashed.
