How much was the aftermarket (proper term is OEM, bosch is the OEM for the OE BMW part)
Your post is confusing. The report you just wrote is for work done very recently? So in response to the dealer saying its a bad pump, you had the pump replaced- all good- but you are gonna call the shop about something else being wrong? A new code? but you never told us you actually HAVE a code or light now....
As you are discovering, it is super expensive to visit shops to pull codes. You are stuck agreeing to work, and no idea what is wrong- then you get a call, with a voice in your ear and you need to make a decision. Even if you never do any work, a reader is a very cheap investment
