I was given an NT530 for Christmas. Used it for the first time on my son's E53 this past weekend. Pretty pleased with it so far.

I have the NT530 and it shows a lot of information. It works on both my E70 X5 and my F10 528i. You can do testing and look at live data. I am happy with the unit.

It's not all-encompassing, but it's very handy to have. Have used the NT520 Pro on e53, e61, e70, and f10. Much easier than dragging out a laptop while still getting fairly comprehensive service and data options. Plus it's very affordable (by most standards).

I have the 530 with the BMW package - just updated about 2 weeks ago. Worked great for scanning codes on an 07 E70 - helped identify that the humidity sensor is bad, right rear leveling sensor. used to reset the oil service, sunroof, register battery and some others tidbits. I thought it worked well - things can be hard to find through - in the beginning there is a diagnostics and maintenance selection (think that is what is said) - the battery registration, commanding sunroof, EHC and all that stuff is int he maintenance section. You can't get to it when you are in diagnostics. After replacing the leveling sensor I was going to re-do the height calibration - since the car is sitting level and the adaptive suspension is working I left it alone - with this car I feel like everything I do leads to something else.

also have the Hyundai and Chrysler modules loaded - its been great on all of our cars.
