Did you end up replacing the whole wiring harness?

Not yet, i need to pull it out and figure where is the discontinuity,
and also, have noticed that my wires to ECU and pin numbers are different than what is shown on your schematic,
i got PIN 14 (brown & white) and 15 (purple white) from ECU to Glow plug module pin 6 & 12.
hope that helps next victim

my guess is corrosion in the connector on the wiring harness, where it plugs into the glow plug module. Either in the pins or where pins are soldered to the cable.

I wish it was corrosion,
connectors are all clean and free of corrosion

My continuity test fails on all 3 wires according to my schematic
i got pin 6 glow plug module to ECU Pin 14
and pin 12 glow plug module to ECU Pin 15
pin 5 Glow plug to fuse carrier pin 4 20 amp fuse,
when i look at your schematic i see pin 68 and 70 on ECU,
my ECU Connector does not have pin 68 and 70
My connector X20008 to ECU it stops at pin 59

There was a change in cable harness design at some point.. presume you have the later model.
What is your voltage measured on the glow plug supply pin at the connector end? Is it below 8.5V?

You are probably right about the change of schematic, i am losing my head, all 3 wires have absolutely no continuity, and the routing of this harness is REALLY not accessible,i have no reading at all, i have reached the box behind the glow plug module ,and opened it to see harness routing, now will perform continuity test at half way of the harness run to identify which half is not conducting.
