Now that you have solved you power issue, go back to basic BT troubleshooting. Delete all the paired devices from both your phone and car and then re-pair. I had to do that after the most recent IOS update.

Also, you may want to do the BMW bluetooth software update available here. https://www.bmw.com/en/footer/software-updates.html
