Where does this hose go?

Had some water in the boot (trunk) area of the X5 e70. I am in the process of clearing the sunroof drain holes etc.

Anyway I noticed that this hose attached to this post was under the battery and crimped by the battery being on top of it. I have now moved it from under the battery and am wondering where it connects to.

If anyone know or has images of where it goes that would be appreciated.
