Sunny--I've been rounds on my 11 X5d trying to troubleshoot the 4530 and a 0429A code. I've deleted the EGR/DPF/Swirl flaps. The tune I did also deleted the SCR, but I just did the DPF/downpipe delete and still have the stock exhaust from the downpipe back.

I've replaced all the vac lines on both sides. I checked the EL valve for the WG and the motor mounts. Mounts hold 20in of vac from the black/white stripe line off that back EL valve. The valve itself holds vac from the service side. I get 22.5in when I idle it testing at one of the two lines over the top of the valve cover where the EGR used to be tapped into. The turbo switchover actuator (new line) holds vac and the arm moves when you pump it down and moves when you first start it. The switch valve itself and the EL behind it both hold vac and produce 22.5in at idle. The waste gate on the front of the motor moves and holds vac (was the red line off the EL valve). My vac seems a bit low, but my house is at 6500' and based on that I think the vac I'm getting is in line with the altitude. Charge pipes on intercooler seem good, don't see any leaks and no oil all over them like some have. Replaced MAP sensor. Have NOT replaced MAF, but did clean it. Have a K&N filter and I was wondering if maybe some oil dirtied that up. Not getting a MAF code unless I've started it without the air box to test vac during troubleshooting.

After checking all of that based on your videos and Andrew's (tune my euro) I still have a very sluggish car and a recurring 4530 and/or 0429A code. I get reduced engine power for 10 seconds or so then it clears up. I don't get a CEL unless I get the 0429A code. The 4530 seems to be a soft code that just stores when the reduced power mode happens.

I'm at a total loss here. We had major DPF/emissions issues with this car. Once it was out of warranty I opted to delete it all since I don't have emissions where I live, and I didn't want issues down the road. Car only has 77k on it. New HPFP, new thermostat, new fuel pressure sensor/rail pressure sensor all replaced by dealer at 73k. I tore it all down, replaced all the vac lines, deleted EGR/swirls, new intake gaskets and full CBU cleanup.

Only thing I haven't done is replace the mid pipe/cat. Maybe the cat is plugged from years of DPF regen issues? Dealer replaced the NOX sensors like 5 times, DPF once, urea tanks etc. etc.

Anyone have any ideas as to what the heck could be causing this still?

Update: spent some time on the phone with Andrew from Tune My Euro and when I did the DPF delete I didn't delete the EGR cooler. The shop instead put a block off plate on the tail end of the cooler where it attached to the DPF. That whole thing needs to come out and the cooler has to be blocked off with a plate where it attaches to the turbo manifold. ALso need to delete the vac switch on that cooler and plug that vac line. We're thinking that is what is causing the issues as I'm losing boost/vac through that cooler. Pro tip: don't buy an incomplete DPF delete kit. Get the good one from Andrew!

Was it ever fixed? Curious if you ever found the issue.
The deletes, where did you get yours from?
I see others out there like rawtech, is that considered a complete delete to go with?
Thanks
