SOS Warning + No Display

So driving my wife's 09 X5 last night and noticed the SOS warning in the center of the cluster. In addition to that the iDrive display is out.


Tried the 3 finger salute, holding CD+DVD+Volume, to reboot and that did nothing. Will be checking fuses when she gets home today.


Last night I scanned for codes and it looks like I have lost all connectivity to anything related to comm.


No comm with audio sys: S 0067
No comm with ULF-SBX: S 0112
No comm with Sat: S 0162
No comm with TCU: S 0195
No comm with Aerial: S 0374
No comm with Headunit: S 0375
No comm with MOST: S 0376
MOSTSYS:No comm: 00FFF1


I don't see where anyone has reported back here or here or here.


After pulling the fuse tonight I'll have to do more reading but at this point I would have to guess the head unit or TCU will need to be repaired.


Any one else dealt with complete comm loss?


One post above mentioned CAN & MOST bus manuals for reading but those links are dead.



If you've had one rebuilt/repaired where have you sent yours? Were you happy with the results?
