Time to Move on....

Hi All,

Just wanted to let you know I'll be parting ways with my E70 today.
After 10+ years, a lot of blood, sweat and frustration at times, I'm moving on...
I've always felt I would never part with my E70, except for an ///M, and I now have a new 2020 X3M BSM/Black

It's been a ride for sure, it's going to a very good new home, and I'll miss it!!

Thanks for all of the help and advice,
John

Nice! How does the X3M compare to your old E70, especially in terms of ride & interior space?

Wow. Thought we'd bury you in that!

Be well, enjoy the X3M.

Ride is a bit stiffer than the 20" on the E70 (even with no RFTs) but better than my 22"...

Space inside is very similar.

Wow - I must have missed a for-sale posting of your truck! There is one up in Bristol, IN that I found on Auto Trader that is optioned very well, but I cannot get any response from the seller! Glad you found a suitable replacement, but I’m sure the e70 community is superior. Ha.

I didn't list it, my mechanic bought it the day I told him I was thinking of selling it, so it's still in the area.
I'll still be hanging out on these forums.
I leased the X3M, so it's only a daily driver for me, not a project like my E70 was.

blue dragon will become famous soon enough
Congratulations on the new car, stick around. There aren't many of us who owned the E70 for 10 years

That about sums up quite a bit of extended E70 35D ownership.

I am guessing you are still getting used to warp speed in the X3M, compared to the 35D

The X3M is crazy fast, really a great option for a replacement, but I will miss the E70...

Oh yeah, I'll stick around... the new X3M is a lease, not a project like the E70 was, so I'll need to get my "modding fix" vicariously
