2011 X5 35D P0112 Fault Code

I had SEL and a P0112 Fault Code - my own Google research wasn't very helpful in analyzing the probably defective part so I brought the vehicle to an independent shop. They quoted replacing the MAF (at an absurd price).

I was able to find the MAF from ecs tuning for less than $30, and replaced it in about 15 minutes - not sure why it was going to cost $250 in labor for the shop to replace it...

Anyways, cleared the code with Torque, and good to go now.

Very easy DIY. I replaced the air filter when the SEL came on and there was no visible debris or damage.
