Follow up: I put the Bilstein B4’s in the rear and they restored the factory level ride quality. Towing without my WD hooked up is no longer super bouncy.

The front now feels slightly under damped compared to the rear so I will do B4’s up front this winter.

Becuase I have third row seats, the rear shocks are a real PITA to access as even the C-Pillar trim needs to come off. I sure wish I didn’t have 3rd row seats but I do really appreciate the self leveling.

Thanks for following up , rarely to people come back and state their results.
I'm with you on the 3rd row and air, luv the air for the ride and when towing but dont want the 3rd row with it.

I know I know you can get rid of the 3rd row but im around 240K Kms in my 2011 3.5L and looking to get out of it and into a E70 X5d as I like the E70s and want to continue on with one that I can have until 400K Kms +.
