Reduced engine power
I got a check engine light for the glow plug control module on my 2011 x5 35d. I had to remove the intake to reach it. Put everything back and now I’m getting a P0402 - exhaust gas recirculation flow excessive detected. Any thoughts on what this could be? Thanks in advance |

Probably a leak somewhere relating to the intake. A seal, a vacuum hose, a fitting
There are TONS of posts about this relating to "BMW diesels" (not specifically on X5s) Could also be a sensor issue, MAF/MAP perhaps... |

Okay I’ll do some more searching in other forums. Thanks for the input!
