Serpentine Belt Replaced - Help Needed

Hi All,

Last weekend I replaced the Serpentine Belt after the Deflector Pulley seized and screwed up the belt (I also replaced the Deflector Pulley).

I also replaced the faulty clock spring.

After doing this, I test-drove the car ont he freeway for about 40 KMS, and all was well.

But now the DCS system has an intermittent fault, and the car looses power while driving.

Are the two related? Or is this a new problem?

The car is a X5 E70 35d - 2008 model with 215,000 kms on the clock.

Any suggestions on what to check would help.
