Powered tailgate struts

Hi,

Has anyone fitted newer power tailgate struts from an f15 to their e70?

Is there any canbus compatibility issues?

I dont have an e70 wiring schematic but have one for an f15 see attached.
The e70 has 5 wires (2 power and 3 to the hall sensors, which i presume are canbus?)
The f15 uses 6 wires, seems to have an extra shielded wire next to the power wires.

Im not too clued up on electronics, any help much appreciated.

The reason I ask is in the UK f15 struts are half the price of e70 and probably better.
