What is a tension pulls? The only wrong and thread I've come across on BMW is the cam bolts and nuts on M62 motor.

Turn left to unbolt en right to bolt it on.
look for the correct bolt! And don’t Forget to lock the spanner befor removing. |

Good call! That's what it is.
(Was). You can try both ways but also find the correct grab point don't use the pulley bolt.
