Ok one thing I see is coolant flange broke off.
Installing the aluminum one, and hoping ��that is the culprit of everything here.

I think mine was about $450 from FCP euro and a solid 3 hours to install. Was much easier than E90 x-drive there's no room at all to work.

Final update - water pump And thermostat replaced. All working amazing. Must must replace the the engine flange mine completely broke off and burned me. Got the aluminum one. Tested the heck of it. Seems I’m just another one with this standard issue, but so nice to have it working well!!!!
