The worst part is, its going to be bigger, bulkier, heavier and longer, but in typical BMW fashion, I bet its going to look BAD AZZ...My eyes are turning green...

They either are better secret keepers or left in the dark. Ive called dealers in London, B'ham, etc, and the difference in answers in hillarious. Its obvious they know something, but just arent saying much...

I was told April 07 UK then 8 month waiting list, lead to believe the 3.0d will get the 535d twin turbo motor.
This must be BMW's best kept secret ever

PLEASE no third row seats!
I like the current X5. (look, size, ...etc)
BMW should make the longer version (w/ 3rd row seats) X7
and keep the dimensions of the new X5 the same as current X5

any auto shows before Nov that the new X5 might be shown?

...and BMW is targeting new Audi Q7 and MDX as competition, therefore the 3rd row option.

It's funny how everyone is complaining about iDrive, but most really haven't even used it. For those that actually have a little experience have said they like it including myself. Its quite simpe once you get time with it.

I don't understand why everyone is so worried about what the new X looks like and its size. Is everyone going to trade in their X right away the second that it comes out? Good luck with a begining production car...

I'm sure there are those that interested because they want to see what BMW does with it; but there is way to much speculation on any of these spy shots and WHAT DOES THE DEALER KNOW ANYWAYS about the new measurements.

I think some are just being disloyal to their current X. That's whats wrong with everyone these days. Theres all this hype to get the newest things. Why don't you guys just look at the "Ultimate Driven Machine" you guys already have.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that leases my X5. I truly love this car/SAV whatever. I'd like to replace it with the new X when my lease is up as opposed to jumping off X bandwagon.

I think the "official" reveal is in Paris at Le Mondial de l'Automobile. September. There will be lots of French people there. If I go I will post zee fotos, unless the folks at wanadoo.fr are on strike.
