I beg to differ, the E53 still looks damn good, even compared to the E70 but I would have to see it in real to confirm!

Sooooo, what will you do Tony? Cancel the order on the E53? Should have waited.

Ok i called my dealer and asked what i could do to get the E70 and cancel the E53. They said i cant cancel it but they would take it and sell it to somone else if i really wanted the E70. But I would have to order on and will not be able to get one for at least 2-3 months after the first one hits the dealer. So I cant wait that long since i already promised my 2004 e53 to someone who needs it pretty soon. So my original deal was a 39month lease. I changed that to a 24 month lease and have to pay an extra $25 per month for that But same down pmt. now My wifes audi will be off lease in december and she will be needing a new car. she wants a 530Xi but i talked her into taking the 2006 4.4 until the end of its lease. So in december my wifes audi goes away. thank God I hate that car. Then she takes my new X5 and I get an E70 X5 to replace it. How does that sound to everyone.

Hey Bozo, there's a sneak peak at the next E60 in this month's Automobile magazine. It's had the rough edges taken off, to be sure. It's quite handsome.

I saw that and that is a facelift and not the next 5-series as they quote in that article . The next 5-series is bigger and coupeish looking. The pic they showed is a photochop of current E60 as posted in this thread

I guess I'm a real minority here - I don't like the exterior of the E70 at all. It may grow on me and become 'o.k.'. As of now, the new 3's and M series look a lot better - I liked them the first time I saw them without needing to 'warm up to them'.

yeah i agree E60 M5 is gorgeous, as is the E70 X5. in fact i am thinking the E70 is almost too upscale. i cannot shake the vision of me trailering the riding mower to loews for service and being stoned to death for blasphemy. i am still leaning Q7, trailor trash enough to roll up it's sleeves, and just posh enough to be parked in the same zip code by valet.

You not alone. I agree with you with the e70. But it may llook much better in person.

BTW the best BMW looking is the Z8 followed by the Z4 Coupe.

I don't like the 3 series at all. Although the pixs of the coupe do look better the sedan.
