I agree w/David - you're much better off with smaller and skinnier wheels for your snows. I'm not sure if 17's will fit a 4.8, but I think 18's will. I also wouldn't want a tire mounting machine doing it's thing on my rims twice a year either as the probability of damage will be quite high.
