They've killed the X5 as far as I'm concerned

cmyX6go will become famous soon enough
I've only seen the black in person. Still not sure, maybe it will grow on me. I do think the black looks better than the colors because of that stupid black plastic on the nose and tail

I was thinking the same, but I will not have to comment until I see it in person.

Anyway, pictures from the 3rd link look better than the rendered photos in my opinion, I guess that it will grow a lot on me when I see it on the road. Until now, I only saw online images of the E70, yet yesterday I surfed the net for E53 images and wasn't as keen as I would on it when I see it in person.

So, for me, it will just be a 4-5 month wait until I can say 'something' on the E70.

P.S: It surely is awesome with the aerodynamic kit, but it's sad that it's not in combination with the trailer hitch. Maybe it's a BMW trick to increase the sales of the aero kit.

I can't believe that these dealers have stock. My dealer in the UK has an 18 month waiting list before any advertising. (that's 18m from the launch date at the end of april!!!). Well I suppose our residuals will be good for the first couple of years.

Europe BMW dealers will not have the car until late April - or maybe up to September 2007 in some countries. I have contacted BMW Romania and they told me that it will probably take till September 2007 to have the car available.

The same in Spain: late May or June.

Our local dealer has a 2 years waiting list for the new X5 and that's from launch date. God knows why though I wouldn't wait 2 years on a X5.

wow 2 years on an X5 is ridiculous
M X5 i'd understand 6 month wait but not regular X5
on second thought even 6 months is long time to wait for a car, specially when you know it's coming ;p
