Anyone have pixs of the Graphite interior?

Hopefully someone has the pix of the Graphite interior on the 3.0si. Thanks if you do.

:xoutpost:

Canamx5 has a E70 with out the premium package, but he has wood trim. There is somebody (I think in Switzerland?) that is getting aluminum trim in their X5. I don't know when, though.

Thanks for the Welcome....

Nice PM with you on Bimmerfest....

I am getting the X5 for my Wife....I want to go with the basic 3.0Si set up and am getting the Black leatherette seats...the car comes standard with Graphite....I have seen pics of the Black w/light Poplar and think it looks very nice....Not sure about the Graphite though.....I think the wood brings some luxury to the car while the Graphite makes it more sporty....

You will definately need to order then...dealers will only have premium pack models....and if your order, you may be looking at 2008 territory, where the X5 3.5si will likely debut. (engine from 335i). It's your choice. I agree that black/metal is very sporty, but does your wife like it?
good luck

She does like the metal look better then the wood....I think I like the wood better.

But then again it wont be my car....

We already ordered on Tuesday....although i know I can change the order at any time.

My CA stated that it may take till July to get the car since they got something from BMWNA about taking longer for the Leatherette cars...and beige leatherette is no longer an option only Black...

So here is what we ordered.

2007 Alpine White 3.0si
Black leatherette/Graphite
Panoramic Roof
Heated Seats
Running Boards.

The deal is $1,100 over Invoice (including all the BS fees and MACO/training) so I know I got a Good deal..

If you have some inside information please let me know as soon as you can...When will they start making the @008 models?

Is August the switch point?

I love the way the E90 335 drives But I dont think I want that engine since the X5 is a purchase...I feel safer with a bit less power and no turbos...not sure about how reliable they will be in the long run...If I lease it then I dont care....

In any case you have been a great help so far and hope to hear soon from you...

Thanks again.

nice car very lightly equiped...
You got a fair deal...I got 1500 off MSRP.
Not sure when '08 build date is.
Agreed about turbo, I already have a turbo car, I prefer naturally aspirated.
If she likes it, go ahead!
I haven't had any first year problems with my X5...perfect! (except for the rearview camera...don't get it!)
Have you thought about park assist? I find the front and rear sensors + vehicle diagram on display very helpful for parking in the city.

Regarding Options - Yes it is...She does not need all the other stuff that can raise the price up to $10k. (I would rather spend it on my next car ///M1 Convert or ///M3 convert (E93))

Regarding Deal - Please keep in mind $1,100 over US Invoice. I got about $2300 OFF MSRP.

Here is the breakdown...
Base car at Invoice +Options at Invoice
+($1,100 dealer profit total)
Just Add tax and you are done....I though it was a very good deal but then again what do I know....I trust this CA since I purchased other BMW from him so at this point I hope he did the right thing.....
Not sure when '08 build date is.

Regarding -Park Assist -I am going to be installing the DVD units in the back of the headrests and will have them wire the Rearview camera at that time...In regard to the Park assist....I had it on my other car and Yes it helps me But in NY some one will get your bumpers so dont need it since the bumpers will be F!@kd up anyway...sad but true.

The pictures above are NOTwith Graphite interior but with Aluminium Interior.
The Graphite is basically Painted Plastic (Non metalic, Not Glossy).
The Aluminium is Brighter and much better looking.
The Graphite is free (Option 4A1 , 0 EURO) , Alumimium cost 360 EUR / $500 (Option 4AD)

...and this is the problem...you never know what you are looking at from pics...that is why I was not sure if we were going to like it in real life.....

The last 2 pics from my post above are from the BMWNA Website...and yes they do not represent the Graphite trim well...

I am in luck went to my dealer this AM and Guess what he was delivering a Silver E70 with Black leatherette and Graphite trim.....

Did not like the Graphite and ordered the Light Poplar trim...I think this will be a nice contrast with the black....

Thank You.
