i was waiting to see the tobacco interior but when i

saw it live i was disappointed. i was hoping for it to be darker. kind of make the interior look cheap. i dont mean to break anyones balls by this comment if one has purchased this color interior.

As always, everyone is entitled to their opinions, but you have to take into account the restrictions of a personal camera the light on the day etc. BMW pay a fortune trying to get the colours across in the brochures but in reality the colours can be like chalk and cheese. I suggest looking at the colour in the flesh, you may still find it's not the colour for you, but it will look anything but cheap.

You're right about the colors coming out a little off. Even the Space Grey looks different in the photos from real life. I think it's one of BMW's best colors. However, I am terribly disappointed at the tobacco interior. I haven't seen it in person yet, but from all the photos I think it looks horrible. BMW's standard black or beige or grey interiors are so boring and common that frankly I've been sick of them for years. Unfortunately the really great color combos stay in Europe and never made it here in the past. Finally with the E53 X5 BMW scored an A+++ with the Truffle Brown interior IMHO and I was keeping my fingers crossed for the same A+++ with the tobacco in the new X5 (because the other options are back to the usual boring group). Sadly this hasn't happened. I hear that the Saddle brown interior that is only available in Canada might be spectacular...can't wait to see it in person. Anyway, just my 2 cents.

The Saddle Brown is also available in Europe, There are a couple of shots of the interior with Saddle Brown on the following link http://www.xoutpost.com/268085-post8.html

Awaiting my Saddle Brown/Space Grey combination. It is Status 55. Will post pictures when I get it. Sounds like I should plan a daytime delivery so that I have better light (delivery is indoors but artificial light is never true).
