Thanks for the info. Interesting read. Seems like the same problem I am having. Strange thing is today my phone would not work and kept resetting itself (Blackberry 7100). Computer message said "No phone installed call BMW assistance". Turned truck off and let it sit in the garage for ten minutes and restarted, re-paired the phone and it worked.
