By the way, what is the margin for one unit of E70 4.8? anyone has information??


i know that 5-6k range off is quite difficult..

i want to know the amount that the dealership would obtain from selling the one unit of E70 4.8...

well...you have to consider that the dealer does buy each car at a lower price than the retail/MSRP price from the factory/BMW. that's where they get the profit. for a $75,000 X5, the dealer probably buys it wholesale for ~$69,000.

Margin% = 1-[(total vehicle base invoice price +invoice price of all the options)/vehicle sale price including options ie. msrp or ??]

Calgary firends of mine buy in Toronto - the Toronto Dealer does not charge them Ontario provincial sales tax as it is being shipped out of province. I do not see why you would not be able to do the same and pay the BC taxes when you register the vehicle.
